About

I was born in 1992 and began my musical studies as a flutist. At the age of nineteen, I graduated in Flute from the Milan Conservatoire “G. Verdi”, under the guidance of Renata Ferri. I then pursued a Master’s Degree, studying with Rocco Abate and later with Antonella Dalla Benetta, and graduated in 2013. During those years, I also attended masterclasses with Mario Ancillotti and János Bálint.

Alongside my instrumental studies, I cultivated a deep passion for opera singing, studying with soprano Maria Grazia Liguori. In 2017 I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Chamber Vocal Music with the highest marks from the Civica Scuola di Musica Claudio Abbado in Milan, where I studied with Loris Peverada. I have also taken part in masterclasses with Luciana Serra, Roberta Invernizzi, Sonia Prina, Roberta Mameli, Emma Kirkby, and Peter Kooij.

In 2022 I completed my Master’s Degree in Opera Singing at the Civica Scuola di Musica Claudio Abbado with full marks and honors, studying with soprano Patrizia Zanardi.

My curiosity for early music led me to study medieval repertoire for two consecutive years with Claudia Caffagni, performing in various ensembles in Milan (Castello Sforzesco, Antiquarium “Alda Levi”, Archaeological Museum), Venice (Palazzo Giustinian Lolin), and Castelfranco Emilia (Villa Sorra, Grandezze e Meraviglie Festival). I also attended a Renaissance ensemble course with Diego Fratelli at the Civica Scuola di Musica Claudio Abbado.

My collaboration with teacher Silva Costanzo has been particularly important in developing my chamber music repertoire, especially works by Schubert, Brahms, Fauré, Debussy, and Strauss. I later deepened my knowledge of Lieder repertoire during a one-year advanced course with Erik Battaglia at the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole.

Alongside ancient music, I am also passionate about twentieth-century and contemporary repertoire. I have performed Galathea by Arnold Schönberg, Agnus by Luciano Berio, Tierkreis by Karlheinz Stockhausen, Four Songs by Igor Stravinsky, Cinque strofe dal greco by Carlo Prosperi, Folksong Arrangements by Benjamin Britten, Liriche su Verlaine by Bruno Maderna, Die Hollywood-Elegien by Hanns Eisler, Maponos by F. B. Mache, as well as songs by Leonard Bernstein and George Gershwin.

Since 2022, I have been the singer of the Millennials’ Orchestra, directed by clarinetist Lorenzo Baldasso, performing jazz repertoire from the Swing Era and giving regular concerts at the PIME Theatre in Milan and beyond.
